We have an established reputation and track record with customers and suppliers
We believe that we are one of the leading suppliers of rigging and mooring equipment in Singapore having a long history of more than two decades and established reputation with our diversified customer base mainly in the marine and offshore O&G industries. Our good business relationships with our existing customers are evidenced by repeat customers, accounting for approximately 93.9% of our revenue in FY2008 who value the quality, reliability, timeliness of delivery and price competitiveness of our products and services.

We have long established relationships with our suppliers who supply us with quality products which are certified by organisations such as Lloyd’s Register, DNV, GL and ABS in respect of the products’ specifications. This will facilitate us in meeting existing customers’ requirements and would give us the opportunities to secure new customers.

Our network of subsidiaries and logistics points in major shipping and offshore O&G hubs facilitate our operations
We operate through our subsidiaries in Singapore and the USA. We also have arrangements with third party service providers in Antwerp (Belgium), Houston (USA) and Sharjah (UAE) to distribute products to our customers, providing us with overseas logistics points and giving us opportunities to serve a wider spectrum of customers in these regions. Rotterdam, Houston and Dubai are major hubs for marine transportation and/or offshore O&G bases. With this network of subsidiaries and logistics points, we have better access to our customers in those locations, facilitating better understanding of customers’ requirements and trends in demand for our products. This will help us in our inventory management and improve operational efficiency. Conversely, customers in those locations, which include vessel owners, would have the convenience of utilising our resources to provide the relevant products to their vessels located in places where we could deliver the needed products. This will enhance our customers’ service experience with us, enabling us to retain their loyalty and also to secure new customers. With the subsidiaries and logistics points located in the various strategic locations, we would be well positioned to establish a more comprehensive operation, when the opportunities arise.

We have an experienced and committed management team
Our management team has extensive experience, substantial technical expertise and valuable business relationships with the customers in the industries we supply to. Our CEO, Lim See Hoe, has more than 15 years of experience in the supply of rigging and mooring equipment, and has been instrumental to our success. He is supported by an experienced and dedicated management team, namely our COO, Lim Siew Cheng and Executive Officers, Lim Siew Choo and Lim See Heng each having more than 20 years of industry experience, as well as support from Soare Siew Lian (our CEO of USA Operations) and Phua Sian Chin (our CFO). Our Executive Directors and Executive Officers are actively involved in the day-to-day operations, which enable us to respond to our customers’ needs and demands and to make key management decisions promptly.

We carry a comprehensive range of rigging and mooring equipment under established brands such as “Kiswire”, “Dong Yang”, “Manho” and “Wirelock” at competitive prices. We achieve this through established relationships with suppliers and effective computerised inventory and logistics management system which enable us to respond quickly to the requirements of our customers and source for the required products in a timely manner. This is important to our customers as their vessels berthing in Singapore would have to secure the necessary supplies and equipment within a short time before departing from Singapore.
